As the crucial first step in a larger home extension project, our team was brought in to excavate and pour the foundations for a new single-storey addition.
Working closely with structural engineers and in line with building regulations, we began by carefully marking out and excavating the footprint of the extension, ensuring accurate depth and dimensions to support the load of the new structure. Ground conditions were assessed and adjusted for where necessary to provide a stable base.
Once the excavation was complete, we installed reinforcement as specified and poured high-strength concrete foundations, ensuring a level, solid base ready for the next phase of construction. Drainage runs and service ducts were also set in place at this stage to streamline the build process moving forward.
