This project focused on the restoration of a worn set of exterior stone steps, originally installed decades ago but showing signs of heavy use and poor water management. Our team reconstructed the stairway with ‘Cotswold slabs’ to match the existing porch for our clients. To address longstanding drainage issues, we integrated a discreet channel drainage system along the perimeter and installed a full drainage system beneath the base to redirect water away from the foundation and walking surface. The result is a beautifully restored set of stone steps that not only enhance the entranceway but also resolve persistent water pooling issues—combining craftsmanship with practical design.
